Supporting School Engagement at Francis Barber PRU

Last week, Tim Cloves, Robert Solman and Corrie-Anne Rounding took advantage of the great weather to support the team at Francis Barber’s temporary school site as part of their SEED (gardening) programme. Together, we delivered and built new planters to help enhance the outdoor learning environment.

A big thank you to our amazing supply chain partners (Ridge and Partners LLP, Essex Group, Innes Associates Architecture & Urban Design, Plus Parts Limited, and Anderson Acoustics) for getting stuck in and lending your support on the day. It was fantastic to be joined by representatives from the Department for Education, Pete from Fulham Palace Gardens, school staff, and of course, the pupils themselves.

The day involved building planters, rearranging outdoor areas, and creating colourful mosaic decorations. The pupils will soon begin planting in their new garden beds, and we’re excited to see how the space comes to life in the coming weeks.

After a productive day, the team wrapped things up with a well-deserved visit to the local pub – brilliant effort all round!
