St Mary’s Completion and Official Opening

The project team comprising of Baxall and DfE were proud to attend the official opening of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Deal on Tuesday.

The ceremony was held at St Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church and conducted by The Most Reverend John Wilson and Metropolitan Archbishop of Southwark and even featured the pupils of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School with their superb reading and songs. The congregation then walked from the church to the new school where the Archbishop blessed the new St Mary’s Catholic Primary School and Officially opened the doors – giving a special thanks to Maria Pullen the Head Teacher and the staff at the school for their support and patience while the new school was built, stating it was most definitely worth the wait as the pupils are so excited to have a nice new school. Baxall were also thanked by the Archbishop, Headteacher and the Kent Catholic Schools’​ Partnership for delivering an amazing school.
