New Primary School in Paddock Wood
We would like to invite you to attend a Community Engagement Event to review plans for a proposed new primary school for Paddock Wood. This public event will take place at Paddock Wood Community Centre on Friday 25th September, between 15.30 and 19:30hrs, and is your chance to find out more information regarding the exciting plans before a full planning application is submitted to Kent County Council (KCC).
Paddock Wood has seen significant housebuilding in recent years and from 2028 it is forecast there will be more Reception children than places currently available in local schools. To meet this need KCC is proposing to establish a new primary school within the town to open in September 2028.
A design for the proposed new school has been developed in close collaboration with KCC addressing specific educational and demographic needs, whilst also recognising the local character of Paddock Wood and its community.

This opportunity is in addition to the formal Planning Consultation process, and it does not affect your rights to make a representation under the formal process.
