Trainee Site Manager Aaron Thomas and Trainee Design Co-ordinator Jack Burgess delivered an informative presentation on ‘Young People in Construction’ at the recent Kent Construction Guild Meeting. Presenting to the Guild group (which included representatives from educational, training and employer bodies), Aaron and Jack outlined their individual career paths before addressing the issue of shortages and possible solutions including integration routes and social media. The meeting was hosted at Medway University Technical College in Chatham and forms part of Baxall’s ongoing programme of CPD events targeted at encouraging new interest and skills into the industry.
