It’s been another busy day for the team down at Eaton House School as 50 tonnes of steel have been carefully craned over the school buildings for the next stage of the £5.7m Kitchen & Dining Building development. A somewhat logistically challenging project, the site is landlocked at the back of the operational school; as such, all equipment, machinery and vehicles are being transferred by crane and excavation relayed out via a bespoke conveyor belt system.  Progressing well, the project is a top down construction, a solution which was adopted due to the proximity of the neighbouring properties and to build into the programme some contingency for poor ground conditions so as not to delay the completion date.
