Operation and Integration
Through strategic growth and innovation, we have successfully developed our in-house capability over the past decade to deliver a wider array of projects spanning educational and high-quality residential to commercial, community and heritage sectors.
Furthermore, we have started evolving the Baxall business into a new, forward-thinking model to encompass a more holistic approach incorporating design brief, design, construction, operation and integration. This will enable us to understand if a building is being properly maintained and performing in line with the original brief.
To achieve this, we continually recruit high calibre, key staff members who bring with them the right resources, capabilities and transferrable skills. Our impressive staff expertise includes Design Managers, Facilities Management (FM) experts and site management teams with Tier 1 contractor experience alongside industry-leading environmentalists, architects and technical specialists.
“The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surroundings,” Kakuzo Okakura.
In September 2021 we successfully secured government funding to support us with an exciting 24-month project known as the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) – one that we believe to be an industry first for the built environment. Working alongside academics from the University of Kent we are developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven data analytics framework using data related to the construction process, and ‘smart monitoring’ sensors to assess the operation of buildings alongside occupancy performance data.
Facilities Management (FM) capabilities
Baxall’s recently established FM division embeds our hands-on industry expertise and takes it to the logical next stage by offering customers whole-life, data-driven support to optimise every aspect of their built environment. Linking this to our innovative KTP scheme means for our clients we are a trusted, one-stop shop solutions provider.
Standard Components Solution (SCS)
This customisable product based approach creates bespoke buildings via a system of replicable processes and procedures. Using standardised, pre-engineered components creates quality buildings, time efficiencies and offers value for money.
Early engagement is our preference as we can add value in both time efficiencies, quality and cost. Investing up front with time, resources and planning is crucial to a project’s success and translates to a smoother (and speedier) programme delivery.
By bringing us on board in the early project stages, our talented team of designers and technical experts will provide you with smart solutions tailored to your construction project, eliminating the potential for time- and money-wasting abortive designs.
And thanks to our well-established network of industry-leading consultants we can efficiently employ any specialists your project may require.
The result: a value for money project that is designed to cost and delivered on time, on budget and with zero defects.
