Support to SMEs and the encouragement of local trade, procurement and employment opportunities are major drivers for Baxall and we are committed to the creation and ongoing development of sustainable communities.
On our contracts, we work collaboratively with our clients, end-users, delivery partners and the wider community to identify opportunities for support and enhancement. These range from liaison with local authorities to help combat anti-social behaviour, apprenticeship schemes, the sponsorship of community and charitable events and joint recycling and “green” initiatives.
We are long-term, active members of the National Federation of Builders (NFB) and have been involved in numerous initiatives to support both SMEs and localism. Managing Director Malcolm Clarke (previously National Chairman) has represented this support at local, national and European Government levels. As contractors on the Sussex Cluster Framework, we utilise the Build East Sussex network to further develop our local supply chain and are working directly with specialist training agency, TrAC (Training and Apprenticeships in Construction).View Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy View Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
