MISSION STATEMENT

Baxall Construction Ltd is a medium sized Construction Company based in Paddock Wood and operating primarily in London and the South East.

Its Directors, Employees and Supply Chain are committed to providing a broad range of quality contruction services to its expanding Client base, by way of constant monitoring, self assessment, staff development and supply chain management.

Baxall Construction Ltd is totally committed to achieving its objectives within a healthy and safe environment for all those involved and affected by its operations.

DEFINITIONS

"Baxall Construction Ltd" : Private Limited Company with the Shareholders being operational Directors.

"Medium Sized" : We wish to maintain a steady growth working within a broad turnover band of £12 - 15 million.

"Construction Company" : Primarily a Main Contractor with a core of direct staff and a proven supply chain of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants. Working on a strong teamwork basis in all related activities and with Directors fully involved.
"Based in Paddock Wood" :- The Head Office and Yard is to remain in Paddock Wood.
"operation primarily in London and the South East" - includes the counties of East Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Essex.
"Its Directors, Employees and Supply Chain" : The present Directors are Nigel Exall, Jonathan Exall, Malcolm Clarke and Steve Smith. This statement encompasses all employees and the supply chain of the Company, both office and site based. The accent is on working as a team, for each other and towards a common vision.
"committed to providing" : This is achieved by developing an enthusiastic, hardworking dedicated and loyal workforce and supply chain that has pride in what is produced by the Company.
"broad range of quality construction services" : The Company at present provides a Main Contracting Service and Design & Build Service with Project Management.
The underlying principle is to provide a quality service both personally, professionally and in practice with a non-adversarial approach. This will involve working to industry standards and measures, self analysis and the development of Company procedures to effect change and improvement.
"expanding Client base" : Maintain existing Clients and using reputation to develop new contacts and opportunities in all areas of the Construction market.
"constant monitoring" : This includes reviews of Company strategy, finance, departments, projects, individuals and customer feedback. Inward looking to improve outward performance. The use of measurement tools to measure results and improvements.
"self assessment" : This applies to the Company, teams and individuals with the goal of achieving perfection of service and best practice by continuos improvement.
"staff development" : The Company is committed to the continual training of staff to ensure progression in a changing environment both in technology and methods. The development of individuals to reach their full potential in their careers is of great importance to the success of the Company.
"supply chain management" : the careful selection and management of our supply chain is an essential part of the companies success. The inclusion of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants employed by the company in its training programmes, development of best practice and measurement of results is all about improving efficiency and therefore improving competitiveness, value for money and profit levels for all involved.
"healthy and safe environment" : the importance of ensuring that all the companies activities are carried out in a safe manner by fully trained employees and subcontractors is paramount. The company has zero tolerance to poor health and safety practice.
"those involved and affected by its operations." : the effect of the companies operations on the general public, employees and subcontractors is strictly controlled. We take a serious attitude to the environment and have put in place measures to minimise the effect of our operations.
